The Australasian Sarcoma Study Group (ASSG) is the peak body for sarcoma research in Australia and one of fourteen national Cooperative Cancer Clinical Research Groups supported through the Australian Government to build Australia’s capacity to conduct cancer clinical research.
Governed through an Executive, Board of Directors and a Scientific Advisory Committee - health care and research members spread across Australia, New Zealand and internationally - work together to improve outcomes for sarcoma and related tumours in the Australian community.
In addition to undertaking outstanding international basic, translational, clinical and supportive care research, the ASSG also provides the infrastructure for collaboration between multi-disciplinary teams, which comprise specialist health professionals who work together to discuss cases and to determine how to best manage treatment and care.
The ASSG website is the primary resource for disseminating information about sarcoma clinical research. This section of the website is designed for healthcare and research professionals.
Please click on the page tabs above to receive more information about sarcoma research protocols, biospecimens, clinical data, resources and initiatives in progress.
If you have any comments or suggestions, please contact the ASSG through firstname.lastname@example.org or 1800 177 657.
