2015 Sarcoma Research Grants: Applications close 21st November

Applications for the 2015 Sarcoma Research Grants close at 5pm Friday 21st November with the recipients announced within two months of closing.  These grants are offered for 12 months for direct research costs for clinical or translational research into sarcomas. Selection criteria include track record and project feasibility, innovation and excellence with particular priority given to clinically focused research.  Click here to view current sarcoma research grants.

Johanna Sewell Sarcoma Research Grant 
In honour of her daughter Johanna, who was diagnosed with bone cancer (osteosarcoma) and tragically succumbed to this disease in 1989, Ms Helen Sewell (AM) has donated $50,000 to the Australasian Sarcoma Study Group to support sarcoma research. Click here to apply.
 

Leon Stone Sarcoma Research Grant  In memory of Leon Stone who passed away this year after a battle with osteosarcoma at the age of 21.  Leon's family and friends have donated $26,000 to Australasian Sarcoma Study Group to support research for osteosarcoma in this funding round. Click here to apply.
