Sarcoma Australia Families

Rainbows for Kate Foundation

The Rainbows for Kate Foundation was established in memory of Kate Boyson who passed away in October 2007, just 5 months after being diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma. She was just 32 years and mother to two little girls. The Foundation aims to address the current lack of knowledge in relation to Sarcoma cancers by funding vital research into these brutal cancers, so that those who are affected have more time and more options than Kate had. In the 3 years since the Foundation began over $1 million has been raised to fund both the ISK study, a world-first, familial study into Sarcoma and other community based support initiatives.
